BILL is seeking a visionary Principal Product Manager to lead the evolution of our enterprise-wide Risk platform—a critical component of our broader Payments ecosystem. This role will focus on all variations of Risk (Credit, Fraud and Compliance), driving solutions that ensure the safety, security, and scalability of our platform while empowering small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to succeed in a dynamic financial landscape.As a strategic risk platform leader, you’ll help protect our customers, build trust, and deliver innovative risk management tools that fuel BILL’s growth and set us apart in the fintech industry.

What You’ll Do

• Define and Drive Strategy: Shape the product vision for the Risk platform, aligning business goals, customer safety, and compliance with cutting-edge technology practices.
• Scale for Growth:Focus on building a best-in-class scalable risk platform that supports multiple payment products and handles rising transaction volumes, paving the way for innovation and expansion across all risk vectors.
• Customer-Centric Innovation: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and ensure our core platform enables products that provide exceptional, seamless, and intuitive user experiences.
• Collaborate and Innovate: Lead and work with product, engineering, design, and business teams to deliver platform solutions that enhance the entire product ecosystem, ensuring alignment across the organization. 
• Scalability & Infrastructure: Oversee the development of a flexible and scalable platform that can support current and future product demands, ensuring a strong foundation for continued growth and product innovation.
• Data-Driven Insights: Use data analytics and market insights to inform platform development decisions, ensuring the product evolves to meet both current and future customer needs.

Your Background

• 10+ years of product management experience in fintech, with a focus on risk management (fraud, credit, compliance). SaaS industry experience is a plus.
• Proven success building enterprise scale risk platforms and delivering high-impact products with seamless customer experiences.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations, ideally within risk management or payments.
• Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and product strategy.
