Business Process Onboarding Specialist

The Opportunity:

When an organization has multiple moving parts in its processes, it can be difficult to critically examine them. To be more efficient and effective, it needs a business process specialist to learn its mission end-to-end and provide ways to change for the better. That’s why we need you, a business process specialist who can analyze every aspect of your customer’s operations and give them the steps to improve their process.

As a business process specialist on our team, you’ll analyze your client’s operating environment and identify areas for improvement. You’ll analyze discussions with leadership and support staff that will help refine your client’s definition of success and identify current frustrations. You’ll work on the design of processes and communicate your research and illustrative analysis using process improvement tools to help establish understanding and agreement from key stakeholders.

On our team, you’ll use process improvement frameworks to provide your client with recommendations, along with a firm grasp of the quantitative or qualitative results they can expect. You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience within Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, I/O Psychology, Recruiting, or Employee Onboarding

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience working successfully and professionally with all levels of employees and management, including senior or executive leaders

  • Ability to understand basic technical concepts and explain them in terms

  • Ability to troubleshoot, identify improvements, and make simple decisions independently

  • Ability to understand the needs of new hires and guide them according to their requirements

  • Ability to be a strong team player with a results-driven approach and work with limited guidance

  • Ability to be an agile, quick learner in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks at once

  • Public Trust

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Resources field

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working with a team of onboarding specialists to welcome newly hired employees and execute the engagement plan throughout the onboarding journey

  • Experience assisting with the coordination, preparation, and distribution of employee documentation

  • Experience managing the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles

  • Experience serving as the primary point of contact for hiring managers and newly hired employees

  • Ability to host and facilitate onboarding and orientation sessions

  • Ability to develop clear standard of operating procedures and employee resources such as new staff handbooks to help acclimate others to the organization

  • Ability to serve as a subject matter expert and make recommendations on how to improve process efficiency

  • Possession of excellent attention to detail

  • Possession of excellent project management skills

  • Possession of excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening skills, presentation skills, and a collaborative attitude
