Senior Mechanical Engineer - Structural Analysis

Join us as a senior engineer.<strong> In this role, you will play a part in our dynamic Offshore &amp; Special Purpose team.</strong> <br>Our team develops, deliver and maintain complex winch and handling systems for a broad range of vessels within the offshore market. With us you will contribute to developing new and exciting products and be part of a highly skilled team. We are looking for candidates who are motivated and passionate about being at the forefront of technology development in the industry.</p><p>In this role, you will be responsible for the structural design, analysis, and verification of new products and engineering solutions for both internal and external stakeholders. You will execute customer deliveries in close collaboration with project managers, product owners, and multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring that structural integrity, safety, and performance requirements are met. <br> <br>You will take a leading role in structural assessments throughout the product development lifecycle, performing strength, fatigue, and finite element analyses (FEA) of winches, handling equipment, and related structures. You will oversee structural design activities, verify compliance with applicable standards and classification society requirements, and support design optimization efforts. <br> <br>In addition, you will provide structural engineering expertise to manufacturing, procurement, testing, certification, and quality assurance activities, contributing to the successful delivery of reliable and compliant solutions.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you will be doing:</strong></p><p>Structural design, analysis, and verification of new products and engineering solutions for both internal and external stakeholders.</p><p>Execute customer deliveries</p><p>Design and verification of winches and other handling equipment</p><p>Provide engineering support to activities related to manufacturing, purchase, and quality</p><p>Support our sales organization with solutions and offers for customers</p><p>Contribute to our team; socially and professionally<br><br></p><p><em><strong>We are processing applications on an on-going basis - apply today!&nbsp;</strong></em></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>We think you should have:</strong></p><p>Degree within mechanical engineering or similar</p><p>Competence within mechanical 3D-design, we use NX/Teamcenter.</p><p>Experience with Finite element method (FEM) and structural analysis</p><p>Practical experience from maritime industry or experience from offshore marine operations is an advantage</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><em>This employment may require a pre-employment check procedure in accordance with company security standards, role or site requirements.
