QA Technician

We are looking for a QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN to ensure our quality product is consistent and fit for purpose and meets both internal requirements and customer expectations as well as being responsible for identifying inconsistencies with program behavior and appearance. Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities: Confirms that support tickets are properly completed and assigned work schedules maintained. Prepares QA documentation: test plans, test strategies, and test cases. Performs product tests and tests relating to software product to ensure end- to-end quality in the development cycle. Participates in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product design, schedules, or potential problems. Communicates with scope team to ensure development specifications are met. Participates in evaluation of product readiness for release. Assists in development of special department projects as instructed by QA Manager. Other related duties as assigned. Requirement and Skills: Analytical with strong attention to detail and the ability to master new applications and technologies quickly. Excellent analytical, prioritization and scheduling skills. Ability to perform logical test scenario planning. Ambitious, eager to learn and aptitude for technology. Strong oral and written communication skills with strong collaboration abilities. Education and Experience: 2+ years relevant experience in functional testing preferred. Bachelor’s degree in information science, computer science or a computer- science related field preferred.
