Responsibilities:

• Be a vital part of a multidisciplinary mobile treatment team, supporting individuals with severe mental illness and forensic involvement.
• Conduct mental status exams and assess physical health needs.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and community physicians to manage and administer medications.
• Deliver personalized, integrated treatment, rehabilitation, and support services directly in the community.
• Participate in rotating 24-hour crisis coverage, providing critical response when needed.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including reporting potential fraud or abuse.
• Stay current with developments in your field and utilize agency IT systems proficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support our mission of community-based care.

 

Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the New York State Education Department.
• Valid NY State driver’s license with a clean record.
• At least 1 year of experience in a treatment or rehabilitation setting.
• Experienced in medication management, mental health assessments, and community-based services.
• A team player with excellent communication and counseling skills.
• Committed to maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
