Your Opportunity as Forklift Operator



Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, receiving materials and products, and picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and/or shipping products using forklift and pallet jack. Maintain receiving/shipping logs and make sure that incoming and outgoing products and materials are in good condition. Move materials to the production area using the FEFO standard  





Location: Edgerton, KS



Pay: $23.46



Reports To: Distribution supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

• Must be able to operate a forklift in a safe manner. 

• Loading and unloading trucks. 

• Receive the material. 

• Moving material. 

• Perform other duties as assigned. 

• Demonstrate and promote a solution-based positive attitude in meeting goals and objectives. 

• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained with an eye for detail. 

• Promote and ensure a safe work environment. 

• Deliver quality products and services through adherence to company standards and operating procedures. 

• Maintain housekeeping standards with attention to detail.

• Must be able to stay on task, performing essential job duties, with an elevated level of accuracy. 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

 

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. 

 

• Experience using an RF Gun or WMS inventory tracking system handheld. 

• Must pass the forklift certification training program. 

• Must pass a forklift written test and practical assessment. 

• Must be able to effectively read, comprehend, interpret, record, and apply information from documents. 

• Proven history of good attendance. 

• Capability to work well in a team environment and be willing to help solve problems and implement solutions with diverse employees. 

• A willingness to flow to work to meet the needs of the business. 

 

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role: 

• Previous work experience in a manufacturing warehouse and/or distribution environment. 

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment and follow all company safety Rules & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
