OnsiteWe are seeking an Engineer II to join our innovative System Analysis team in Windsor Locks, CT. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the design and optimization of cutting-edge 0D/1D thermal fluid systems, where you’ll be involved in architecting, sizing, and developing advanced models, as well as defining and executing comprehensive system test plans.

What You Will Do
With support and assistance, under minimal direction, you will architect, size, and design thermal fluid systems and the associated controls for heating, cooling, and ventilation of aircraft.
You will formulate conceptual designs for thermal fluid products or systems, developing detailed requirements that align with customer needs and business objectives, with a strong focus on reliability.
Using advanced mathematical models or other computer analysis methods, you will evaluate and modify designs to meet customer engineering specifications.
You will perform system-level analyses of thermal fluid systems and prepare comprehensive technical reports outlining your findings and recommendations. With some guidance, you'll help create and implement standardized procedures and best practices across the organization.
Collaboration with customers will be key as you establish specifications, perform analyses, and plan performance testing.
You will analyze test results to verify their alignment with performance predictions and ensure compliance with system requirements.
Qualifications You Must Have
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer
A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Computer Science
2 years of experience in the Aerospace, Automotive, or Oil/Gas industries
Experience in the design of pneumatic and motor-driven turbo machinery, vapor cycle systems, or heat exchangers
Experience with Model-Based Design (MBD) engineering
Familiarity with reduced-order modeling techniques
Strong proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink
Experience with Python, Modelica, or SysML
Experience with CAMEO and DOORS for systems modeling and requirements management
Proven ability to present technical concepts to management and customers
Experience in task planning and project execution
