This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking a part-time Travel Specialist to provide critical support to our dynamic project teams. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work in a fast-paced environment, while collaborating with internal partners and supporting federal initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Develop, evaluate, revise, and update project materials such as publications, online resources.
  • Identify key partners within organization and build this partnership.
  • Facilitate meetings, training, group discussions, and other events.
  • Aid in the organization of planning meetings.
  • Create and support project outreach, marketing, and information dissemination.
  • Support budget tracking and invoicing in accordance with federal guidelines.
  • Draft required documents such as project reports and position descriptions.
  • Maintain on-going and effective communication with project team, staff members, and partners.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Have excellent time management, verbal and written communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
  • Possess demonstrated experience in the areas of conflict resolution.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Be flexible and possess the ability to function in stressful situations.
  • Be a dependable team player.

Preferred: Bonus Points For...

  • Prior experience working with government contractors supporting the DoD or other military customers.
  • Familiar with Smartsheet platform.
  • Strong understanding of JTR (Joint Travel Regulations).
