Project Manager

Redaptive is searching for a talented Project Manager with a contractor's license to drive large complex construction projects on our Delivery Team in Denver, Colorado. In this role you will be responsible for managing the project life-cycle and serve as an owner’s representative for development, design, permitting, and construction of complex multi-measure energy and efficiency construction projects in the US and Globally. This role reports to the Associate Project Director.
Must be located in, or willing to relocate to the Denver Metro Area.  Committed to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging 

Job Responsibilities

• Manage portfolios of work as the customer’s trusted point of contact – generally operating as an owner’s representative
• Oversee, manage and direct construction projects from beginning to end
• Hire and manage Contractors
• Review and monitor the project in-depth
• Ensure schedule of all the deliverables
• Budget management
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Manage and mitigate risks
• Always ensure quality construction standards and safety

Job Requirements/Qualifications

• 5 years minimum at a General Contractor, Mechanical Contractor, CM or related.
• Working experience in construction management or similar role with a contractor's license
• Good knowledge of construction management processes
• Experience with construction management software packages
• Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
• Outstanding knowledge of construction and/or performance contracting
• Able to evaluate and respond to change orders from contractors
• Fanatically detailed
• Able to handle large quantities of information and keep it organized
• Excels in a fast-paced environment
• Able to thrive in a startup environment
• Competent in conflict and crisis management
• Good time-management skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Critical-thinker and problem-solver
• Great attitude, willing, and thoughtful
• Bachelors, most likely mechanical engineering or construction management preferred or related work experience
• Have an ergonomically correct and functional work-from-home workstation set up; amenable to a hybrid of working from home and in an office setting in the Denver Metro Area, Colorado
