This position serves as a Telecommunication / Information Technology (IT) Coordinator for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT). In this role you will receive telecommunication and IT requests for equipment and/or services from Agency staff and will update agency specific records in EMS1 including cost center codes and name changes to maintain correct billing information. In addition, you will monitor and analyze agency usage of telecommunications and IT services and make recommendations to division managers and/or fiscal on cost savings opportunities. This position is responsible for conducting feasibility studies and visiting sites affected by moves/relocations to determine telecommunications and IT needs and preparing of service requests. This position also serves as liaison to National Communications Systems through the U. S. Department of Homeland Security.
