Our work depends on an Identity and Access Management Engineer joining our team to support the Indian Health Services (IHS) Electronic Health Records Modernization (EHRM) program. As a Identity and Access Management Engineer supporting the IHS EHRM program, you will be responsible for supporting the Engineering team for identity and access management execution support.
HOW AN IDENTITY AND ACCESS MANAGEMENT (IAM) ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Will be responsible for leading, designing, consulting, and integration of identity and access management frameworks, systems, and protocols for the IHS Modernization program.
Will be responsible for SSO, authentication and access controls ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of IAM systems and data.
Performs continual maintenance and provides complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems
Contributes to completion of major engineering programs and projects.
Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.
Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology and works with management to evolve current processes.
May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
8+ years of experience supporting medium to large IT projects in the realm of identity and access management topics.
Experience with creating multifactor authentication, SSO, and SCIM concepts.
Understanding of SAML 2.0.
Training/education/experience in task coordination; functional knowledge of IT project management concepts and tools.
Experience with Citrix, or healthcare-related IAM approaches.
Familiarity with Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the year, if needed.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
8+ years of relevant analyst experience.
Experience in supporting federal programs in implementing IAM concepts
Experience with Okta IdP preferred.
Task management experience and/or skills.
Ability to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our program.
Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage frequently changing priorities of competing importance
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with internal/external teams including key stakeholders and customers.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within tight deadlines, following detailed written policies, processes, procedures, and work instructions.
SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:
Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance, which requires residency in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.
