Description: In support of HR, the Associate Director of HR Analytics develops and delivers analytical assessment and modeling capability to the HR Leadership community across the enterprise, to drive competitive advantage and analytically informed decision making.
Key Responsibilities and Major Duties
Utilize expertise in data science and machine learning to ideate, design, develop, model, and deploy advanced solutions.
Collaborate with HR stakeholders to define project objectives, formulate data-driven hypotheses, and identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for analysis.
Gather, pre-process, and explore large-scale structured and unstructured data from diverse HR sources.
Apply advanced statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling techniques to extract insights and develop models that generate actionable recommendations.
Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and anomalies in the data and propose effective solutions to business problems.
Develop and implement predictive models (e.g., regression, clustering, time series forecasting) to address complex business challenges.
Operationalize machine learning and artificial intelligence analytics models on ML Ops platform.
Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to ensure data availability, quality, and reliability for analysis and modeling purposes.
Effectively communicate complex analytical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear and compelling visualizations, reports, and presentations.
Mentor junior members of the team, providing guidance, support, and knowledge sharing to help them develop their skills and grow professionally.
Stay up-to-date with the latest methodologies and best practices in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data science to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required, preferably in a quantitative area of study. A master's degree (MBA or other graduate degree) is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with advanced degrees contributing to the required years of experience.
Hands-on experience in designing and deploying machine learning models is preferred.
Strong proficiency in data science Python/R libraries
Proven experience in managing large, complex projects with multi-functional team members.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python/R, SQL, and familiarity with tools like Tableau and MS Office Suite.
Proficiency in using Git for version control.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to explain complex analyses and outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in the HR domain is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of HR data and related challenges.
