Assists with transfer of patients when necessary.</li><li>Supports patient throughput through timely response to assignments and appropriate cancellation of requests. Ensures performance meets established expectations regarding productivity.</li><li>Communicates effectively with care team members regarding arrival/departure of patients, necessary contact precautions, and transport of medications and/or medical equipment.</li><li>Assists colleagues within department or other units, when necessary, to safely transport patients and/or equipment. Collaborates with department colleagues to prioritize transport requests during high volumes times.</li><li>Engages in departmental process improvement initiatives and demonstrates competency in regards to safe use of equipment, electronic assignment system, and necessary computer functions for administrative duties.</li></ol><p style="color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, clean, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Educational/Experience Requirements:</span></strong></p><p style="color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, clean, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;">High school diploma or GED</p><p style="color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, clean, sans-serif;
