Restaurant Supervisor

Responsibilities: Provides quality service to all restaurant guests.  Provides efficient and friendly food and beverage service in the MarketPlace, MarketPlace Bar Lobby Lounge Bar, and Room Service.

• Reports to work dressed in proper attire and on time following proper clock in/out procedure as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Always ensures guest satisfaction in a positive and efficient manner.
• Assist in all aspects of restaurant, lounge and room service operations
• Assist in the selection, training, supervision and development of staff to meet hotel performance standards.  Provides adequate floor supervision, one-on-one training, and employee development utilizing policies and procedures.
• Maintains a working familiarity with policies and procedures as they relate to restaurants, lounges, and room service operations.
• Assist in scheduling, evaluation of procedure manuals, job descriptions and specifications and performance standards within the department.
• Assist in effective communication of guest response and aids in the maximization of sales opportunities through follow-up on programs, systems and techniques.
• Assist restaurant, Lobby Lounge Bar, and Room Service staff in developing strong, quality guest service skills and knowledge.
• Promotes and supports hotel safety and recycling programs.
