Pay Range: $25+ per hour plus opportunity to earn commissions

Position Overview:
We are currently hiring a Mobile Semi-Trailer Technician to join our expanding service team in West Michigan. This is a mobile, field-based role with no daily reporting to a central office. You’ll respond to customer sites to perform trailer repairs and maintenance, ensuring top-tier service and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel locally to customer sites to inspect, diagnose, and repair trailers
- Evaluate mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs or part replacements
- Conduct welding, fabrication, and structural repairs as needed
- Use hoists and tools to dismantle and reassemble trailer components
- Test and verify repairs to ensure proper functionality
- Maintain the service truck and complete daily safety inspections
- Accurately complete service documentation and time logs
- Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately one week per month)

Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2–5 years of experience in trailer repair or heavy-duty equipment maintenance preferred
- Welding and fabrication experience is highly desirable
- Must have their hand tools
- Must have one State Certification
- Strong time management and self-motivation
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card (company-paid)
- Must pass a drug screen, physical, and lift test
Physical Requirements:
- Lift/carry 30 lbs frequently
- Lift/carry 50 lbs occasionally
- Team lifts to 100 lbs infrequently
