Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer for the GPI Architectural Definition Position. Non-Tactical Equipment Responsible Systems Engineer(NTE RSE)

This position is 100% on site in Chandler, AZ.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the SEIT TMRR Lead to compile data products that support GPI’s execution of the TMRR process
• Conduct frequent cross disciplinary, and customer communications
• Work with the SEIT Technical Lead, and Architect to define the program’s Non-Tactical Equipment Architecture in Cameo
• Capture requirements within DOORS
• Operate at a higher level of competency, and without appreciable direction

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 8 years of related engineering experience; or a Master’s degree in STEM with 6 years of related engineering experience; or a PhD in STEM with 4 years of related engineering experience
• Interim US Secret DoD security clearance, or higher – Most work is performed in a closed area
• Advanced understanding of Systems Engineering Concepts
• Requirement decomposition, functional flow diagrams, use case analysis
• DOORS Management Experience
• Cameo Experience

• Preferred Experience:
  • Active US DoD Secret security clearance, or higher
  • Experience working fast paced development programs

Primary Level Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
