Be a part of our family! We are McCain.</p> <p>Within the European McCain Team, your focus as a Power, Controls and Automation Engineering Lead is to realize subject projects, process optimization, automation and innovation by exploring and (re)searching opportunities on new technology and methods that affect efficiency, performance, quality and sustainability while translating into process control and automation solutions and successfully implementing them. Key activities are:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Preparing, leading and supporting projects in manufacturing and operations to become more stable and efficient;</li> <li>To set and monitor the process control and automation standard in close collaboration with the global engineering team;</li> <li>Act as a sound board on different levels through the organization by supporting, knowledge sharing and advising on process control, while being the expert within this domain;</li> <li>To be consulted as a subject matter expert by manufacturing on performance, trouble shooting and problem solving;</li> <li>To be an enabler within process control and automation for McCain.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>As a Power, Controls and Automation Engineering Lead:</p> <ul> <li>You are responsible for the strategy, operational excellence, project planning &amp; organization, project budget, organization &amp; leadership, innovation, quality and stakeholders contact within your scope of process control &amp; automation for all our plants within Continental Europe;</li> <li>You will manage projects that differ in size and magnitude; <ul> <li>You are responsible for multi-disciplinary major process control projects from €100K – €5M</li> <li>You will manage projects that support the company strategy, crucial for the growth of the business</li> <li>You will consider different alternatives for machinery, automation and layout and explain these to the different stakeholders</li> <li>Your projects will involve both technical and non-technical disciplines</li> <li>You will define detailed project plans, budget and necessary resources for projects with a typical duration from ½ year up to 2 years</li> <li>You projects will be typically executed on site, throughout all our Continental Europe sites</li> <li>You will coordinate about 10-30 indirect reports</li> <li>Project leadership represents about 75% of your time.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Your profile</p> <ul> <li>You have minimal a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferable in Electrical or Automation Engineering or a related field, and combine this with minimum of five years of relevant experience in a food or FMCG manufacturing facility;</li> <li>You have strong knowledge and experience on systems and machinery as input to business cases;</li> <li>You have profound and creative engineering capabilities;</li> <li>You have excellent project management and change management skills;</li> <li>You have multidisciplinary knowledge of several applicable disciplines: process control, IT, infrastructure, OT applications, Interfacing, etc.;</li> <li>You are fluent in English, both written and spoken;</li> <li>You have excellent communication and leadership skills, and show this by influencing, managing and developing people on all levels.</li> <li>Your agile analytical mind-set, innovative approach, resilience, hands-on mentality and commitment fit our McCain Values; </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>What we offer: </p> <ul> <li>A fixed contract in a financial stable company;</li> <li>A varied, challenging and responsible job in an effective and international team with flat hierarchies;</li> <li>Health contributions;</li> <li>Attractive salary package: laptop, phone;</li> <li>Career opportunities on a global level;</li> <li>The possibility to work from home up to 50% of your time, to assure a good work-life balance. </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Where will you be working?</p> <p>You will work closely together with other highly engaged professionals in a multinational company, with family values.
