SALARY RANGE: $136,729 - $190,828 per year
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)
Nokia of America Corporation,Technical Leader, I&V (Multiple Positions), Dallas, TX. Support installation and commissioning of SDM (Subscriber Database Management), IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem), TAS (Telephony Application Server) product umbrella. Perform integration, and troubleshooting, and configuration of these network elements to integrate them with other Nokia network elements and solutions. Support network operation and maintenance by performing software and hardware upgrades following product release roadmaps, configurations and database changes, backup and recovery. Perform testing trials by executing configuration and databases changes, troubleshooting, and software changes (upgrades/downgrades) during setup of test environment. Coordinate networking activities, plans, designs, and solve complex engineering problems, and assist with new product and technology introduction. Planning configuration parameters to integrate systems in the Nokia telecom network. Coordinate requirements gathering and perform technical evaluation of request based on provided test cases, network architecture and requirements. Provide input for service cost estimates, create implementation plan, and track service implementation. Develop and maintain practices, tools, processes within Nokia R&D community. #LI-DNI
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field, and 7 years of related work experience (of which 5 years must be post-bachelor’s, progressive). Or a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field, and 5 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience with the following: End-to-end operation of 2G, 3G, LTE, and 5G telecom networks, including mobile systems and mobile network architecture; Integration of solutions and network elements in Mobile Core Network; Installation, commissioning, integration, troubleshooting and maintenance of SDM (Subscriber Database Management), IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem), umbrella products and solutions; SDL (Shared Data Layer), OneNDS (Network Directory Server), HLR (Home Location Register), HSS (Home Subscriber Server), AUSF/UDM (Authentication Server Function/Unified Data Management), CSCF (IMS Call Session Control Function), TAS (Telephony Application Server), and PCF (Policy Control Function); Applying new software releases, performing continuous delivery, and feature activations; Telecom protocols for message structure, expected message sequence, implementation in specialized mobile solutions on mobile networks; Troubleshooting tools including external protocol analyzers, and internal log analyzers; Linux and Windows; and Virtualization and Cloud platforms.
Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted, depending on business need.
