Business Development and Technical Integration Eng V – Future Projects

 

Summary

This position will work closely with the EGS Future Systems Projects Office (FSPO) Chief. FSPO is the Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program project office focused on supporting future Artemis campaign efforts and providing the strategic framework for how the unique skills developed in our Program can be leveraged to make the enterprise more successful. Further, FSPO will also serve as a home for the EGS and some of KSC team members supporting other Moon to Mars (M2M) Programs. This includes the Human Landing Systems (HLS) Lander Ground Operations (LGO) office that is now part of EGS. LGO is providing insight activities for HLS ground operation. 
 

Duties and Responsibility

  • Will help develop and lead technical integration activities for center wide processes, initiatives, and technical task for various project in support of Kennedy Space Center (KSC) for programs such as M2M Program’s EHP, HLS, and ESDMD’s Strategy and Architecture Office that involve multiple center stakeholders. 
  • Will assist FSPO in development long-term strategies that support EGS Program and KSC’s vision for NASA Moon to Mars Architecture. Defining NASA of 2040
  • Responsible for authoring/co-authoring formal documentation, technical white papers, and reports for various Future Systems Projects Office (FSPO) projects 
  • Will assist in the development of business processes FSPO
  • Will develop technical and business communication tools for FSPO
     

Skills

Prefer knowledge of the following applications: Acute business acumen, Strong Technical writing, and presentation skill, self-starter who can work independently with minimal direction yet is also comfortable working in a team environment.   Ability to think outside the box and break from status quo. Ability to provide a long-term vision that meets the goals and objective of the NASA Customer

Required knowledge: MS Office applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
 

Education

Master’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) required, preferably Aerospace engineering. Comprehensive knowledge of theories, concepts and practices and ability to use in complex situations. 20+ years of related experience is required.
