HP Poly is looking to build a team of Software Engineers in Test specialized in Python to drive forward the quality strategy including test automation and best practices within an Agile team.  The right candidate will have strong technical skills and have a passion for driving technical solutions that ensure quality of products.

Responsibilities:

• Design automated tests based on software design and internal structure of an application.

• Design, build and improve test infrastructure and automation framework.

• Develop test tools to enable Software Quality Assurance team to analyze results and execute tests efficiently.

• Design quality assurance and test processes for end-user applications and systems

• Write and execute complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application.

• Collaborate and communicate with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding test status, project progress, and issue resolution.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Engineering degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics or similar, Master’s degree preferred

• At least 1 year of experience in Software Test Automation area

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of Python

• Good understanding of IoT principles will be a plus

• Experience with applications that interface with USB and Bluetooth connected devices will be big advantage

• Knowledge of Software testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
