The Air Traffic Systems (ATS) business at Collins Aerospace, is excited to offer a rewarding internship opportunity for a motivated college student during the summer of 2026.

As an intern, you'll have the chance to develop valuable program management and operational skills while gaining exposure to multi-level leadership. The ATS business works collaboratively with key functions offering you a unique perspective into the inner workings of an aerospace business.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform designated assignments in support of business goals and objectives.

  • Assist in the planning and facilitation of meetings.

  • Gather, consolidate, and organize data through various systems and tools.

  • Participate in business lifecycle activities that support milestone achievement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional matrix teams.

  • Develop a comprehensive briefing package summarizing your experience and present it to leadership at the conclusion of the internship.

What You Will Learn:

  • Gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day execution of business operations, including understanding program and product capabilities.

  • Develop experience implementing directives and strategies outlined by leadership.

  • Enhance your understanding of cross-functional collaboration by working within matrix teams and exploring how various business functions integrate to drive success.

  • Cultivate the skills necessary to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with others.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as effectively contribute in team-oriented environments.
