We are currently searching for an AI Governance specialist to join our Data and AI Governance team. Location is flexible: Toulouse (FR), Eindhoven (NL). You will play a critical role in developing and enforcing policies that guide the responsible use of AI within our organization. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with evolving AI regulations and mitigate potential risks. Your work will directly contribute to building trust with our stakeholders and maintaining our commitment to ethical AI practices. You will contribute to the development of our AI Governance program, to help establish the proper mechanism to balance AI value and risk for NXP benefit. This will combine AI opportunities, responsible AI development, AI compliance framework. You will be in contact with stakeholders around the globe, specialists of our AI Centers of Expertise in the Central Data, Central Technology and IT Offices, as well as our Legal and Government Affairs teams. This position will offer development opportunities in Eindhoven (NL), Toulouse (FR), Austin (US).

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

You will primarily help establish best-in-class AI Governance processes, policies, awareness and practices assisting the Data & AI Governance Lead. This role will cross technology, business, and legal areas.

  • Develop and Implement Policies: Create comprehensive AI governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential ethical, legal, and reputational risks associated with AI use.
  • Stay Informed: Keep abreast of the latest AI regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to build consensus and foster a culture of responsible AI.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration and minor in Computer / Data Science, or Law / Innovation, or equivalent academics, 5-10 years of experience (consulting or industry) minimum
  • Strong understanding of AI ethics, bias, transparency and regulatory framework
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fluent in English
  • Comfortable with managing concepts, solid competencies in process definition and improvement, strong analytics and problem solving sills
  • Advanced technology savvy with curiosity and willingness to keep it up-to-date
  • You are reliable and accountable, a quick learner, proactive, structured, with autonomy and drive. Your hands-on mentality help you achieve results together with your project team. You enjoy (remote) collaboration and are sensitive to your stakeholders
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (incl. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Forms)
  • Agile/SCRUM Project management (including Jira tool) would be a plus
