Position Summary

FBN Direct is a rapidly growing input transaction platform serving farmers, providing crop protection products, seed treatments, fertilizers, and a variety of other crop inputs directly to farmers. FBN Direct offers an industry-changing, independent, and unbiased way for farmers to purchase their crop inputs - emphasizing superior value, and through a seamless transaction process that delivers products directly to the farm.

The Supply Chain Business Partner plays a critical role in the successful execution of supply chain operations:

 

Responsibilities 

• Financial Modeling - partner with the S&OP and finance teams to dollarize the activities of the supply chain; purchasing, manufacturing and overall inventory management activities, to roll up into an overall integrated financial model for the company
• Cost of Goods - develop and manage cost of goods management processes to provide visibility to current, standard and replacement cost data for the portfolio.  Identify variances versus AOP and work with teams to drive improvements.

• Make v Buy- provide financial modeling to make recommendations to the supply chain related to internal manufacture or external purchase of finished goods.

• Optimization Projects - partner with all facets of the supply chain team and finance teams to develop charters for cost improvement projects and coach teams to identify clearly where savings will be identified in the P&L and how to effectively track and realize savings.

• Capital and Expense  - develop processes to review department expenses and capital project models to ensure projects deliver on time and on budget and that department spend is within budget.

Minimum Qualifications

• Finance, accounting or supply chain experience, 5+ years in related degree fields
• Demonstrated experience in S&OP / IBP processes
• Demonstrated experience with standard cost management 

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in finance / accounting roles within a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated experience in S&OP/IBP process ownership
• Financial modeling experience for capital investment projects
