Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Senior in Los Angeles, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud; may perform design and development within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Operating Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure and Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Drive various aspects of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which may include requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, and escalations of urgent issues. Design and develop data governance standards, roles and responsibilities; design data conversion strategies and facilitate data conversion, mapping and cleansing workshops to support the clients’ conversion to Cloud. Perform assessments of existing information systems, identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.
  • Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Driving implementations of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS), MuleSoft, and Java;
  • Tracking application defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, utilizing Any point Monitoring, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Splunk, Dynatrace, Agile, Jira, and Redmine;
  • Defining project approaches and driving Jira implementation activities across the solution delivery lifecycle, including Idea, Feasibility, Initiation, Requirements, Design, Build, Test, implementing requirement gathering, user story definition, process design, and assessment of business and launch readiness;
  • Driving aspects of integrity, functionality, and security projects and workstreams, including monitoring and identifying project issues to mitigate risks;
  • Developing and reviewing required project documentation, including document specification and standards, high level design, user access forms, topology, deployment plan, runbook, presentations, gap analysis reports, process flow diagrams, roles and responsibilities documentation, and process documents;
  • Working across all phases of the API-led lifecycle to design, develop, test, and implement cloud-based applications, utilizing Agile, Waterfall, Velocity, and Lean methodologies for enterprise-level clients in the Retail, Insurance, or Banking industries;
  • Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and maintenance in a client environment, utilizing Agile, Confluence, GitBook, Exchange, and Notebook;
  • Utilizing JMeter, Postman, and SoapUI to support and perform Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, and Performance Testing, to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
Annual Salary: $124,950.00 - $208,250.00
