The Cloud Infra and Supply Execution (CISE) finance team is an exciting and fast-evolving finance team at the forefront of Microsoft’s Cloud-first strategy. The CISE finance team is responsible for supporting delivering cloud capacity at the right time, right place and right cost. We’re seeking a Senior Finance Manager to own deal modelling and end to end coverage for accelerated capacity asks.

Responsibilities
This role owns the financial evaluation of data center lease and capacity proposals. The individual builds and reviews cash flow models to assess the economics of lease structures, land acquisition, and power related investments, enabling leadership to make informed decisions in a fast paced, capacity constrained environment.
- Build and own cash flow and NPV models to evaluate data center leases, land acquisitions, and infrastructure / power asks.
- Assess economic trade offs, risks, and sensitivities across pricing, timing, contractual terms, and capacity pathways.
- Partner with cross functional teams to validate assumptions and translate technical proposals into clear financial implications.
- Deliver executive ready insights and recommendations that clearly articulate value, risks, and decision trade offs.
- Apply consistent modeling frameworks and assumptions to enable comparable, decision quality evaluation across deals and regions

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
- OR equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to collaborate and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, influencing across multiple complex organization, and creating effecting partnerships. Ability to achieve results through both individual and cross team efforts, to manage multiple projects at the same time, and to work effectively under deadline constraints
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and analysis. Problem-solving attitude. Experience in influencing decisions and developing strategic plans. Ability to "think outside the box" and not be hindered by how things have been done in the past.
- Willing to go the extra mile. Self-directed, resourceful and willing to roll-up sleeves as needed. Proven ability to drive projects and analysis to closure in a collaborative and matrixed environment
