About the Role:

Job Description Summary: The SQA Engineer will focus on testing and ensuring the quality of a leading global trade platform. This role involves designing and executing automated tests using modern testing frameworks and tools. The engineer will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the platform's reliability and performance. Key responsibilities include developing test plans, writing test scripts, and maintaining test environments. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with automated testing tools, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test cases and test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand application features and identify potential issues early in the development cycle.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and documentation to ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects, providing detailed reports to the development team for resolution.
• Maintain and configure test environments to ensure they accurately reflect production settings.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve software quality and performance.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging testing tools and methodologies to enhance testing processes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
