Position Overview
The Sr. Integration Analyst handles the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Exact’s internal and external EHR interfaces, which typically follow the HL7 v2 standard. They are responsible for analysis, technical design, configuration, issue resolution, and upgrade support. They regularly work closely with fellow analysts, IT project managers, and system architects to ensure new and existing interfaces meet stakeholder needs. This role is expected to act with autonomy when gathering requirements, exploring solutions, and reporting progress to leadership. They have regular opportunities to mentor teammates, participate in peer review, and represent the team as interface subject matter experts on highly integrated projects.
Tools commonly used in the day-to-day functioning of this role include Epic Bridges, Epic Aura, and the Corepoint interface engine. This position includes a rotating on-call responsibility.
Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Creates designs to guide and contextualize solution development across products, services, projects, and systems.
- Develops new interfaces in the Corepoint interface engine and the Epic EHR system.
- Provides ongoing support for maintenance, enhancements, and software upgrades related to our current and future interfaces.
- Provides senior-level EHR integration team representation within project teams and workgroups.
- Creates and advocates for best practices around interfaces and system integrations.
- Coordinates with peers and architects on evidence-based solutions to meet operational needs.
- Works closely with subject matter experts across domains to determine the business requirements for interfaces, and configures interfaces per the requirements.
- Handles the entire lifecycle of interface development, including analysis, design, implementation, change control, go‐live, and support.
- Ensures promised results are achieved and deadlines are met.
- Writes and executes test plans to ensure that quality requirements, regulatory requirements, and design specifications have been met.
- Authors technical specifications about Exact’s interfaces.
- Helps monitor the health of live interfaces, and collaborates with experts to provide permanent solutions to problems.
- Communicates effectively with technical and non-technical experts both internally and externally.
- Communicates effectively with upper leadership within the business.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, computer science, math, information systems, statistics, or related field or Associates degree and 2+ years of related experience or High School/GED and 4+ years of experience.
- 5+ years of IT experience supporting system integrations.
- 3+ years of Interface Engine Development.
- Epic Bridges Certification.
- Ability to develop in Corepoint or another interface engine.
- Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and clearly communicate solutions.
- Ability to understand organizational requirements and their impact on the technical aspects of a solution.
- Ability to work in a complex multi‐communication‐channel environment.
- Skill at tracking tasks, defining next steps, identifying owners, and holding people accountable.
- Ability to coordinate activities involving multiple players, including vendors, subject matter experts, interface engine developers, and end users, to design, configure, and test interfaces.
- Ability to parse HL7 v2, XML, CSV, and HTML.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Corepoint Level 1 and 2 training.
- 1+ additional Epic certifications beyond Bridges.
