The Future Talent Program features internships with a duration of up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals. 

The Global Clinical Trial Operations (GCTO) team is seeking applicants for the Meeting Management intern position. The intern will engage with the GCTO Meeting Management organization and their associated project teams throughout participation.

Responsibilities:

Position's primary responsibility is to support the execution and management of Investigator Meetings (IMs) as well as other departmental meetings (Operational Review, Employee Onboardings, Regional Senior Leadership meetings). 

  • Work closely with GCTO Meeting Managers to support all activities associated with the conduct and execution of Investigator Meetings (IMs). 

  • Responsible for data entry, tracking and validation of meeting data including meeting deviations and exceptions.   

  • Responsible for running weekly/monthly metrics reports and analyzing and interpreting the data.   

  • Assist with creation of PowerPoint template presentations.

  • Research assistance on innovation and technology in the digital meeting space with a focus on adult learning principles and knowledge retention. 

  • Assist in editing of Global Clinical Development (GCD) SOP documents with potential creation of a comprehensive RACI. 

  • Responsible for compiling and reviewing post meeting survey results for trends and improvement opportunities. 

Qualifications:

  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in a scientific-related discipline or event planning and management.   

  • Understanding and knowledge of Clinical Research and Development.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.   

  • Project management skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple deadlines. 

  • Advanced knowledge and expertise of Power Point, Excel and Word.

  • Ability to analyze and determine the applicability of data and information.

Salary range:
The salary range for this role is $39,600.00-$105,500.00 USD
