Description
SUMMARY
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team at Vobev, a leading beverage manufacturing company. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring our products meet the highest quality and safety standards. You will conduct routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products using various testing devices and procedures, ensuring they adhere to our internal specifications.

Shift:
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills and must be flexible enough to work a rotating 2-2-3 shift and overtime as needed. Day shifts are from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, and night shifts are from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conducts tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance; examines products or work to verify conformance to specifications
- Routinely use measuring tools (such as caliper gauges and micrometers).
- Advise production when inspection results do not meet customer specifications.
- Generates forms as required to correct or prevent nonconformance; investigates as needed.
- Records test data and apply it to statistical quality control procedures.
- Prepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into a database for analysis.
- Recommends revisions and updates for standard operating procedures and work instructions as needed.
- Performs periodic product or process audits per standard procedures.
- Reduces scrap and defects.
- Build positive relationships across designated teams by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.
Works individually and as a team to develop and implement quality and efficiency improvements.
Maintain a safe and clean.

Requirements
Skills/ Knowledge:
Possesses all basic and some advanced skills and knowledge. Has a thorough understanding of the total process flow. Strong attention to detail and experience reviewing and understanding graphs and trends. Must be able to match colors. Demonstrated ability to provide clear and concise communication (verbal and written) respectfully to all levels of personnel.
Computer Skills:
The ability to work effectively in a Microsoft Windows environment (Word, Excel, Outlook, and internal software programs), with advanced presentation skills and the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets. Strong attention to detail and experience reviewing and understanding graphs and trends.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar industry. Experience with depth gauges, dial calipers, and/or automated gauges

- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus regularly.
Other Requirements:
