What you’ll do at Insight
As a Director of Finance, Corporate FP&A at Insight, you’ll own a crucial component of managing corporate financial analysis, system integration, data modeling, support budgeting cycles, in addition to collaborating with other members of the FP&A finance team and executives across the business
We are seeking an experienced Director of Corporate Finance who has a strong background in corporate finance, ERP implementation, and change management, to support a transition to a more efficient and integrated financial system.
In this role, you’ll be focused on advising and assisting the VP of Finance with consolidating revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, understanding forecasting and analysis, base cost planning, and ad hoc modeling
This is a dynamic and high-profile position requiring you to utilize a broad range of financial, process, operational and strong communication skills.
What you’ll do at Insight:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, accounting, and operations, to ensure the System of Record meets the organization's needs.

In support with the Corp Finance VP, coordinate with external vendors and consultants to ensure successful ERP integration

Support Company Planning, collaborating cross-functionally with the GM’s, Finance Org and others, driving alignment and accountability mechanisms

Support the financial model (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) for Insight, including forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning

Lead monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing financial results, distilling/synthesizing key trends, and communicating business insights to senior leadership

Provide ad-hoc analysis and lead various other reporting projects including decision support, metrics and analytics

Develop a best-in-class annual and long-term business planning process and ensure alignment between business partners and FP&A. Includes developing policies, process, timelines, cadence, tools, and communication

Support quarterly management and Board reporting, ensuring a high degree of quality, timeliness, and accuracy, as well as highlighting key business insights

Provide support for Investor Relations and Earnings Call preparation

Continually improve processes, drive change and elevate the level of reporting for the overall corporation, for business units, and for corporate department
What you’ll need to join Insight:

10+ years of Finance experience in roles of increasing responsibility within the finance function of an organization that has led to strong corporate finance and accounting acumen to drive decisions at both strategic and tactical levels

Integrated systems experience across SAP BPC, Oracle Hyperion, Anaplan, Workday Adaptive and/or other ERP systems.

Experience managing projects across multiple systems.

Ability to effectively communicate, present and articulate strategies across various audiences; outstanding analytical and writing skills.

Public company experience

Superb analytical/quantitative skills and strong executive presence

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior management, large/small groups and one-on-one

Flawless attention to detail and ability to consistently generate a high quality work product is critical as group analysis is presented to C-level management on a regular basis

Extensive experience partnering with senior leadership both in Finance and cross-functionally

Strong influencing skills; assertive without being antagonistic or alienating; ability to work in a collaborative and team-centric culture
