Responsibilities:

• Foster a safety culture that is a role model for the entire organization
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement according to Lean and OPEX principles
• Focus on defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as well as continuous improvement of standardized production methods and process according to OPE
• Production scheduling – support and execute monthly, weekly and daily production schedules
• Ensure the adherence to manufacturing and work instructions and the General Manufacturing Standard (GMS)
• Establish and implement standard operating procedures for production operations
• Set & monitor quality standards of products and processes
• Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems
• Prepare and maintain production reports
• Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement
• Develop and promote the training and development of employees, as applicable, and ensure annual performance appraisals are completed for each employee.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor‘s Degree or higher in Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent experience
• Strong Lean Manufacturing & Lean Production Systems experience required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production with manufacturing equipment and procedures
• Minimum 5 year managerial/supervisory experience
• Have excellent computer skills and familiar with ERP system, preferably SAP
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA and other workplace safety regulations
• Proven leadership skills, experience in people management
• Proficiency with mechanical and chemical aptitude
• Strong communication skills especially oral and writing skills
