Position overview:
The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Bureau of Collection Services is seeking to hire an Accountant Advanced to independently conduct complex auditing and accounting functions. This position will update the Department’s automated online accounts receivable system; analyze provider adjustments (debits/credits) initiated by the Third-Party Liability Section; implement procedures for tracking and accounting of outgoing subrogation claims; develop and improve accounting procedures, methods and training materials; and confer with the Bureau of Fiscal Operations to establish and enhance reporting of recoveries and refund transfer procedures through Systems Application Program (SAP).
