Every Spring Health team member is expected to use AI tools thoughtfully, apply human judgment to AI outputs, and keep building AI fluency in ways that support their role and our mission.</p></div><p>Reporting to the Associate Director, Engineering - Insights Retention, this engineer will help enhance and grow the analytics products that demonstrate the value of our services to the customers using them. This role will build our product features as a part of a cross-functional product team and will collaborate with more senior engineers to grow while also mentoring more junior engineers to improve our overall execution practices.</p> <p>Please note that this is a <strong>hybrid role based in Seattle</strong>, with an expectation to be in the office 2–3 days per week at our 255 King St location. Candidates must be based in the Seattle metro area or able to relocate independently within 90 days of their start date. Occasional travel will be required for team on-sites.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and build scalable full-stack services using Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship high-impact features that improve customer reporting and analytics</li> <li>Expand and maintain the existing web application</li> <li>Debug and resolve issues quickly and efficiently</li> <li>Contribute to architectural discussions, code reviews, and tech debt prioritization</li> <li>Advocate for high engineering standards, including test coverage, documentation, and observability</li> <li>Participate in an on-call rotation to support system reliability and respond to production issues</li> <li>Collaborate flexibly across time zones, as needed, to support distr
