Who We Serve 

Pacific Clinics serves children, transitional age youth, families, adults, and older adults. We offer a full range of mental and behavioral health services, foster care and social services, housing, continuing adult education and early childhood education programs to Medi-Cal eligible individuals and families throughout Alameda, Contra Costa, Fresno, Kings, Los Angeles, Madera, Orange, Placer, Riverside, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Solano, Stanislaus, Stockton, Tulare and Ventura Counties.  

JOB SUMMARY

Works within the vision, mission and philosophy of the agency. Is responsible for compiling payroll data to maintain payroll records and ensure that employees are paid accurately.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

1. Processes semi-monthly payroll for the agency.

2. Processes new hire employee data. 

3. Prepares Payroll Distribution List for each payroll, distributes checks by locations.

4. Prepares manual payroll checks on an as-needed basis.

5. Responds to employee payroll-related inquiries

6. Supports employees with password reset, and time sheet issues.

7. Files payroll documentation into employee folders.

8. Prepares monthly Payroll accrued for Exempt, Non-exempt, and Journal Entry for Payroll Supervisor review.

9. Supports audits and subpoenas as needed. 

10. Performs other responsibilities, as assigned, to support department and business needs.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Minimum of two (2) years payroll experience.
