Software Developer Senior

Our work depends on Software Developer Senior Technical Lead joining our team to design/develop/modernize the client's software in a highly Agile environment attending daily scrums and following Sprint Ceremonies/Best Practices performing the following:
 

• Working in a DevOps environment with a 100% remote team
• Building and coding applications and/or models using Spring/Springboot framework
• Building and maintaining a Java based, common software interface that allows application programmers to perform CRUD (Create, Replace, Update, Delete) operations within a relational database using java POJOs (Plain Old Java Objects)
• Demonstrating an understanding of the common design patterns associated with standard object persistence mechanisms, standard persistence frameworks like MyBatis and Hibernate, an understanding of when to use POST & PUT, and how to (de)marshal objects between JSON and POJO
• Demonstrating Oracle (SQL and PL/SQL) experience

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills:

• 5+ years of Java/J2EE (Java 8 or higher preferred) work experience
• 2+ years of Oracle (SQL and PL/SQL) experience
• 2+ years of AWS experience

● Security Clearance Level: Public Trust
● Required Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate and troubleshoot with a team that works 100% remotely
• Be online and responsive to the team and client using email/TEAMS chat during business hours

● Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Spring/SpringBoot framework
• Experience with automated build environments and tools
• Experience with shell scripting
• Experience with Angular
• Experience deploying Springboot services to AWS EC2, ECS and/or Fargate instances
• Experience with Gitlab Runner, Docker
• Experience with Junit, SONAR, Cloudbees, Jersey
• REST Web Service experience
• Experience with DevOps

The likely salary range for this position is $114,750 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
