From cloud contact centers to feature-rich unified communications solutions, our Applications team is dedicated to providing businesses with the tools they need to streamline operations and improve customer experiences.</p> <h2><strong>Why this role matters:</strong></h2> <p>We are the Interaction Plan team and we are responsible for the modernisation and maintenance of a number of core system components, built within a modern event-driven microservices platform based on .Net and Kafka. </p> <p>We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who’ll contribute to both new feature development and backend system improvements with a strong focus on quality, fault tolerance, and performance. You’ll gain hands-on experience with real-time communications and use data to help improve how we build and scale our services.</p> <p>This is a primarily backend-focused role with occasional frontend exposure. </p> <h2><strong>Your key responsibilities:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Plan, write, maintain, test and document code across the team services and platforms.</li> <li>Participate in triage and customer support activities, such as investigating customer cases or incident management and recovery activities. </li> <li>Collaborate and work as a part of a distributed team, working with other team members and reviewing code.   </li> <li>Actively participate in team meetings and ceremonies, contributing to ongoing improvement of team practices and ways of working.</li> </ul> <h2 class="no-bottom-margin">What you'll bring</h2> <p><strong>Required:</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of professional experience in backend software development (<strong>.Net/C# + Java).</strong></li> <li>Any Front-End experience (<strong>TypeScript or JavaScript</strong>) o<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">r willingness to learn it. </span></li> <li><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Hands-on experience with <strong>Apache Kafka</strong> and <strong>Jenkins</strong> in enterprise production environments</span></li> <li>Previous experience using <strong>MongoDB </strong>database. </li> <li>Strong <strong>English skills</strong> and the ability to collabo
