We are actively searching for a driven Senior Financial Analyst who will play a critical role in helping our business partners understand and impact performance. The individual in this role will provide accurate, actionable and timely reporting while identifying risks and opportunities as well as mitigation plans.
Additionally, this position will have high level visibility supporting the global leaders of enterprise-wide functions such as Finance, Corporate Technology, IT and HR. This hands-on position is an integral part of our global businesses with the opportunity to regularly interact locally, regionally and globally. Qualified candidates must be able to work a hybrid schedule at our Bloomington, MN office.
Role Responsibilities:
Own monthly close process, reconciliation, and variance analysis.
Provide accurate, timely, relevant, and actionable reporting & analysis of performance against historical, budgeted, and forecasted results to facilitate decision-making focused on improving profitability, reducing cost or other actions that may be necessary.
Recommend solutions to negative variances and communicate projected trend implications to the management team.
Own the quarterly forecasting, annual financial planning and other tactical planning for the respective Global BUs.
Monthly report out of results to senior executive.
Setup and support of capital equipment requests.
Other analytical projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in accounting, finance, or business
Ability to conduct research, perform data analysis and resolve problems across functions
Strong analytical and communication skills
Comfortable presenting financial topics to non-Finance business partners
Proficiency with Excel
Collaborative worker and analytical thinker; detail and deadline orientated
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Tableau proficiency
Experience with financial reporting tools (Hyperion, EPM, Power BI, etc.)
Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
Annual Salary Range: $78,400 - $100,900. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, performance.
