Assisted Living Nurse Manager -

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Monitor assisted living and memory support by: receive daily reports, ensure documentation is updated daily, review new phone orders and ensure existing phone orders are appropriate for catheters, oxygen, feeding tubes, IVs, wounds, etc., ensure medications are properly transcribed on E-MAR, follow up on diagnostic testing (ie: x-ray, lab, etc.)

* Facilitates and implements the admission process including recruiting and interviewing prospective residents, completing all pre-admission and evaluation materials and ensuring appropriate documentation including functional assessments and service plans are completed as part of the admission process.

*Monitor, track and trend all falls, infections, weight loss (partner with CDM) and wounds; update service plans as needed.

*Participate in regularly scheduled management meetings such as daily standup, weekly risk/Medicare, care plans, daily huddles and QAPI.

*Participate in Nurse On-Call Rotation.

*Assist DON with personnel management tasks such as interviews/hiring, performance management, skill checkoffs, provide and/or promote associate educational programs, monitor associate attendance and compliance of mandatory training as required. Collaborate with QA Nurse on scheduling of AL/MS nursing staff and approve PTO requests of assigned staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

*Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse with a current Kansas nursing license in good standing.

*Assisted Living and/or Memory Care experience preferred.

*Previous management experience preferred.

*Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

**$70,000 annual salary minimum. Salary will be based upon LPN or RN license and previous long term care and management experience.

**Full-time associates earn paid time off based upon hours worked.
