What this job involves

JLL is seeking a General Operations Project Manager to support day-to-day facilities operations for our client in the pharmaceutical industry Andover Campus — a 2.1 million square foot, 9-building pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Andover, MA. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing operational projects across the campus, working closely with the Hard Services Manager, maintenance teams, planners, and client stakeholders to keep work moving on time and on budget. The ideal candidate is organized, communicates well across all levels, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a GMP or regulated setting is a plus.

What your day-to-day will look like

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage operational projects from initiation through closeout, including scope definition, scheduling, resource planning, and budget tracking

  • Work closely with maintenance planners, supervisors, and technicians to align project work with ongoing operations and avoid conflicts with critical systems

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, status reports, and action item logs; provide regular updates to the Hard Services Manager and client stakeholders

  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships — coordinate scopes of work, review quotes, track performance, and ensure deliverables are met

  • Identify and escalate project risks, delays, or budget concerns in a timely manner

  • Support the planning team with work order management, PM scheduling, and backlog reduction efforts

  • Ensure all project activities comply with site safety protocols, SOPs, and applicable regulations

  • Track and report on project KPIs, milestones, and spend against budget

  • Facilitate project meetings, document minutes, and drive accountability on action items

  • Assist with emergency response coordination and operational continuity planning as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field — or equivalent work experience

  • 3–5 years of project management or operations coordination experience in a facilities, industrial, or campus environment

  • Proficiency with project management tools and CMMS platforms (Maximo, SAP PM, or similar)

  • Solid understanding of facilities systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, scopes of work, and vendor quotes

Other requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to both technical teams and client stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a GMP, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated environment — preferred but not required

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management training

  • Familiarity with life safety systems and regulatory compliance requirements (Joint Commission, NFPA, etc.)

  • Experience managing contractor and vendor relationships on a large, multi-building campus

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

Location: Onsite – Pfizer Andover
