Description
The Amazon Advertising engineering team has an opportunity to be part of something big! Working on advertising for Amazon.com, Kindle Special Offers, and Amazon Mobile Ads, the Ad Product Tools team provides critical tools that streamline ad delivery to millions of Amazon customers. We are onboarding new programs across globe onto this platform. Amazon advertising will enable employee self-sufficiency by providing simple, intuitive self-service tools across devices using communities, lightening, and other Salesforce next gen technologies. We will implement the overall self-service strategy and user experience for our employees and partners by integrating it with other Amazon cross systems and platforms like telephony, content management system (CMS), and analytics ensuring a consistent global experience.
Amazon Ads SP&S team is looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to build and customize Salesforce.com (SFDC) solutions and manage integrations with other systems. This includes designing, developing, testing and deploying custom Apex and object-oriented solutions.
Responsibilities
Own all aspects of architecture, end to end design, development, security, design/development best practices, integration and deployment (CI/CD), release architecture and automation regression testing.
Build solutions in Salesforce.com leveraging Force.com, APEX, Lightning Web Components, Web Services, and APIs.
Provide expertise and recommendation on when to use configuration vs. code vs off-the- shelf products.
Support cross systems integrations across native Salesforce eco system, as well as other cloud technologies including AWS.
Partner with product owners to deliver tailored solutions that support business requirements, create a superlative user experience, and drive tangible business value.
Participate in the planning and analysis of requirements for system enhancements, translating requirements into well-architecture solutions that best use the Salesforce platform and products.
Analyse Salesforce tech debt, propose design and implement solutions.
Function as tech lead to drive end to end projects.
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Knowledge of a front-end language (Javascript, CSS, HTML, etc.)
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
- Strong knowledge of a Salesforce (Javascript, Apex, Lightning Web Component, Platform Events etc.)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
