Engineers build the bank: Our Engineering competence strives for technical excellence, efficiency and a state-of-the-art experience for our customers. We believe in using the best tools for the task at hand with an eye into the future and working together to democratise wealth. We are the foundation pillars of Trade Republic.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Be part of our engineering team working on the development and improvement of the frontends of our core banking and trading applications
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, analysts) and moreover with the founders and senior management helping to ignite further growth of the company
• Build, test and ship features/products using modern tools such as Vue, Typescript, Jest, Webpack and WebSockets
• Proactively take responsibility for the long-term code quality and frontend architecture
• Participate in mentorship of more junior colleagues and set them up for success

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• You have developed and shipped scalable user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks
• You have a strong urge to deliver reliable and long-term maintainable software using development and continuous delivery
• You feel comfortable in an agile environment and have a self-driven personality with a “hands-on” approach, and are able to identify and solve problems independently and efficiently
• You are passionate about building a modern financial system that redefines how people invest their money in today’s markets
• Nice to have: experience around mentorship and onboarding of new joiners

• WebSockets with a custom protocol, that bridges the reactive contract over the network
