The Operations and Transparency Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting transparency and reporting activities while providing operational assistance to ensure compliance with transparency reporting requirements. This position will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain operational efficiency and facilitate transparency initiatives, working closely with management to implement process improvements and helps to evolve the organization and systems for current and new regulations.
Responsibilities
Transparency Reporting
- Assist in coordinating transparency reporting activities, including data collection, remediation, and reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness of submissions.
- Support third-party vendors in preparing, validating, and submitting federal and state transparency reports within established timelines.
- Monitor transparency-related spend data sources and communicate issues to relevant stakeholders for resolution.
- Provide operational support and contribute to change management efforts for new system implementations and enhancements.
- Assist in managing the process for handling physician disputes and inquiries.
- Assist in the development and revision of policies, procedures, and training materials for aggregate spend processes.
Business Operations
- Support third-party vendor engagement processes and systems related to healthcare providers (HCPs) and patient engagement.
- Support stakeholders with end-to-end processing of HCP interactions starting with tiering evaluations, vendor onboarding, contracting, honoraria and expense reimbursement processing.
- Assist in managing grants and sponsorship workflows.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide input on compliant technology solutions and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Provide guidance on process and operational support to ensure compliant field operations.
- Participate in operational projects by gathering requirements, providing status updates, and supporting project deliverables.
- Maintain documentation and provide daily administration of operational systems.
- Stay updated on best practices and industry trends to drive continual operational improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, Required
- A minimum of 4 years of required experience in compliance, business operations or accounting related functions, preferable in pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries.
- A minimum of one year of experience with healthcare compliance regulations and industry standards including basic understanding of HCPs engagement, preferred.
- Experience with open payment requirements and operational systems and data reporting tools, preferred.
- Familiarity with life sciences operational processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
