Provide clinical counseling and case management services consistent with individualized treatment plans for youth with mental health and/or substance use disorders; conduct intakes, assessments, 
facilitate groups and individual sessions, participate in treatment team meetings, complete required documentation, and support clients through transitions while adhering to regulatory and agency standards.

Key Responsibilities: 
• Conduct timely intakes, screenings, and comprehensive assessments to inform individualized treatment planning 
• Develop, implement, and revise client treatment plans that reflect assessment findings and measurable goals 
• Provide individual counseling, group counseling, family conferences, and educational groups focused on recovery and functioning 
• Facilitate client transitions and prepare transition summaries, plans, and correspondence 
• Participate actively in clinical staffing and multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, contributing clinical insights 
• Manage caseload responsibilities including timely documentation, chart correction, and ensuring notes reference treatment plans 
• Respond professionally to crisis situations and provide appropriate stabilization interventions 
• Maintain positive relationships with referral sources, clients, and coworkers while adhering to ethical and agency standards 
• Meet required training and continuing education standards (state-specific requirements), and represent the agency in the community 

 

 

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications: 
• Missouri: Master’s or bachelor’s degree (non-licensed) in a human services field, and/or certified/credentialed to provide services within scope of practice 
• Hold credentials of a Qualified Addiction Professional as defined by the Missouri C
