Your position in our team
- Design, develop, and optimize cloud-native data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using AWS services and own the underlying infrastructure
- Be responsible for data models that support various analytical and operational needs for thousands of gyms with more than 10 mio members
- Collaborate closely within the Data Team, and other engineering teams to translate complex business challenges into innovative, data-driven solutions
- Driven data excellence and integrity across all stages of the data lifecycle by enforcing data governance best practices ensuring data reliability and trustworthiness
- Continuously learn, evaluate, integrate or further develop new cutting-edge data technologies (e.g. streaming databases, data mesh) to maintain our competitive edge
Your profile
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with focus on Data Warehousing
- A deep understanding of data architecture principles
- Proficiency in Python and its relevant data engineering with extensive experience in working with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GC)
- Solid command of both relational (e.g. Postgres) and non-relational (e. g. MongoDB, Dynamo DB) database systems
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to debug complex data issues and implement robust solutions
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
- Familiarity with common data services like e.g. DBT, Redshift Spark, EMR
