POSITION VISION
The Warehouse Repack Handlers primary responsibility is to repair all damaged product for resale. The Warehouse Repack Handler is responsible for helping to keep the warehouse clean, neat, and orderly at all times.


QUANTIFIABLE POSITION OBJECTIVES
1. Reports to work on time wearing a clean WBD approved safety apparel.
2. Repair all damaged product to a sellable condition.
3. Works with Warehouse Manager to ensure proper inventory of repack materials.
4. Ensure all cases are repacked to supplier standards.
5. Ensure all cases are returned to proper stock locations.
6. Load or unload product, dunnage and empty kegs onto trucks.
7. Products may be lifted using arms and hands to stack products on pallets for loading onto trucks. Products weight approximately:
- 1 case of cans = 21 pounds
- 1 case of 12oz bottles = 38 pounds
- 1 case of 40oz or 24oz NR bottles = 48 pounds
- 1 1/6 bbl = 58 pounds
- 1 ¼ bbl = 88 pounds
- 1 ½ bbl. = 175 pounds
8. Maintains a clean and safe working environment by straightening up pallets and keeping floors swept and scrubbed.
9. Warehouse Repack Handlers are required to follow all safety rules and procedures
10. Must be willing and able with proper training to perform back up functions for other warehouse personnel.
11. As needed, the Warehouse Repack Handler will be required to perform winter/summer outside duties. This will include general winter parking lot/sidewalk maintenance and general lawn care.

Education:

Minimum: High school diploma or GED. Must be able to read, write and comprehend English and have basic math skills

Preferred: Certified in forklift, walkie rider and electric pallet jack


Experience:

Preferred: Experience in material handling or beverage distribution




 


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and stack, 1 case of cans (21 pounds), 1 case of 12oz bottles (38 pounds), 1 case of 40oz bottles (48 pounds) and ½ barrels (175 pounds) 3 feet off the ground; stand; use hands to finger, handle and reach with arms. The employee is frequently required climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, speak clearly, and hear. Must be able to read, write and comprehend English.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS
All work is performed inside the confines of the warehouse. Exposure to broken glass and diesel fumes.
