Host - Reserve Steakhouse Part Time (Thursday - Sunday 3:00pm - 11:00pm)

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for warmly welcoming guests, guiding them to their tables or lounge areas, and contributing to a high standard of quality and service throughout their visit. This position is integral to the overall guest experience, and we look forward to adding dedicated individuals to our dynamic team.

Essential Functions: 

• Immediately welcomes all guests using first/last name as appropriate.
• Seats guests in a timely manner and provides essential information regarding the outlet.
• Will possess knowledge of all menu offerings, including all specials and/or promotions.
• Sincerely thanks all guests and provides a warm farewell upon exit from outlet/area.
• Has the ability to oversee communication with service staff regarding any guests’ needs. 
• Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s, and encourages others to do the same.
• Adheres to all regulatory, company,y and department policies and procedures.
• Completes all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:                   

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous restaurant hosting experience is required, preferably in a steakhouse or fine dining setting; cash handling experience is preferred.
• Neat and clean appearance.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demand:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs. 
• The position requires 90% standing and 10% walking. 
• Requires some pushing and twisting. 
• Requires some bending, kneeling, climbing, stooping, and frequent reaching above and below shoulders. 
• Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke.
• Must be able to respond to touch, speech, smell, aural and visual cues. 
• Fast-paced environment involving constant public contact. 
• Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for long periods of time.

Compensation & Benefits: 

• Earn between $15.00 per hour.
