Job Description

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for oversight of all phases of the Division I
Women's Basketball program at the University of Richmond. Specific responsibilities include but
are not limited to: coaching and student-athlete skill development, recruiting, budgeting, team
travel, and providing a positive collegiate experience for student-athletes.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL EFFORT:

Regular travel required (recruiting and team travel)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to lead/manage others
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills
• A thorough knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is required
• A demonstrated expertise in coaching women’s basketball is required for this position

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

• Bachelor's degree required
• Master's degree preferred
• 4-7 years’ previous experience coaching on the collegiate level is required for this position

SALARY STRUCTURE:

Pay Grade HC (Hiring Range $30,000.00 to $115,000.00 annually)
