About the role

If you are a Field Service Engineer/Professional looking for an opportunity to grow and develop professionally, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Cranberry Township, PA at our PWS Global headquarters, you will be part of a team of customer support engineers who can analyze and solve engineering problems associated with the installation, start-up, and operation of relatively complex distributed control systems, sub-systems, and/or specific control equipment at customer locations.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Analyze and solve engineering problems associated with the operations of relatively complex digital, analog and hybrid control systems, sub-systems and/or specific control equipment at customer sites.
Provide matrixed supervision to a large group of junior field engineers in handling the customer’s needs, this will include intensive communication abilities in resolving issues on a timely basis.
Perform complex engineering functions within established budget and schedule constraints. Prepare complex innovative and technical descriptions and cost estimates. Negotiate change notices with customers.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field, or equivalent combination or education and experience
10+ years’ experience in a customer-facing field service role
3+ years' experience with Emerson Ovation DCS
Willing and able to travel up to 60%
Use your company car to travel to regional locations, be able to fly to more distant customers, a passport is needed for international travel
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
