Supervisory Field Engineer

- Analyze and solve engineering problems associated with the operations of relatively complex digital, analog and hybrid control systems, sub-systems and/or specific control equipment at customer sites.
- Provide matrixed supervision to a large group of junior field engineers in handling the customer’s needs, this will include intensive communication abilities in resolving issues on a timely basis.
- Perform complex engineering functions within established budget and schedule constraints. Prepare complex innovative and technical descriptions and cost estimates. Negotiate change notices with customers.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field, or equivalent combination or education and experience
- 10+ years’ experience in a customer-facing field service role
- 3+ years' experience with Emerson Ovation DCS
- Willing and able to travel up to 60%
- Use your company car to travel to regional locations, be able to fly to more distant customers, a passport is needed for international travel
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- PE or PMP
