Job summary
A Global Media Communications Company with more than 70,000 employees globally is seeking an Associate Director of Facilities Operations in North America. The Associate Director executes and manages strategic and operational direction for their portfolio. The Director will oversee a portfolio of approximately 150K square feet of office space in one or more buildings.
Core Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide Leadership and Management Support for On‐Site Facilities Support Staff
- Responsible for Management of Front Desk/Reception, Supplies, Catering, Conference Room Scheduling, Facility and Equipment Repairs/Maintenance, Mail/Package Services
- Manage Client Executive and Facility Relationships at the Agency level
- Provide Strategic Support/knowledge to Agency staff
- Manage Facilities Services Vendor Relationships
- Oversee Facilities Improvements and Repairs
- Manage Building Moves and Large Furniture Reconfigurations
- Direct and Enforce Company Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Manage Multi‐Brand Client Relationships
- Manage Building Operating Budget(s)
- Process and Approve Building/Facilities Expenses
- Partner with Security Team to Ensure Safety and Security of Offices
- Partner with Project Management team on Renovation and Construction Projects
- Collaborate on Real Estate Strategy Development
- Continuously Improve Facilities Operations Efficiency
Qualifications
- 8+ years related experience
- Extensive experience managing a staff of Facilities/Operations management professionals
- Passionate about providing outstanding customer service
- Strategic thinker who can creatively problem solve
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple diverse tasks
- Experience developing and managing financial budgets
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Experience working in a complex and rapidly changing environment
- High degree of energy, motivation and dedication to quality and excellence
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
- Strong collaborator
