Government Reimbursement Financial Analyst
- Provides all government reimbursement services as assigned, including preparation of Medicare & Medicaid Cost Reports, Tricare Cost Reports, Wage Index, and handles audits and analysis by assisting with accumulation of information requested to support filings.
- Assists with compilation of data for annual Medicaid disproportionate share hospital surveys and audits.
- Compile and submit annual wage index reviews and occupational mix reviews as directed by CMS.
- Keeps updated on changes in Medicare & Medicaid compliance requirements. Participates in available training, including webinars and on-line options.
Qualifications: Experience in healthcare finance, preferably government reimbursement, with preferred previous work experience in consulting, MAC, or multi-hospital system.
Location: Remote - reside in MO, IL, OK, or WI

Job Summary:
Performs analysis and reporting regarding financial operations and information.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs routine financial analysis using existing procedures.
- Performs statistical, cost and financial analysis of data extracted from various internal sources.
- Assists with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
- Serves as consultant to management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Rare climbing.
